You are invited to a gathering for Scott and Laurnet Spalding. We wish them well as they make the move to Minnesota. The gathering will be at the Maquoketa Country Club on Friday, March 20 from 7-10 p.m.
The family of Betty Scott would like to invite our church family to celebrate her 90th Birthday on March 22nd during the 1st service coffee hour.
This year we will be doing something different instead of the Easter Lilies again. We will be doing “Garden Flower Pots”. They will include one large flowering plant and 6 smaller plants in a 7 ½” pot. They will be at a cost of $15.00. Please fill out the order form if you would like to purchase. The deadline is April 1st.
Heifer Project We are the fourth and fifth grade WOW students and we are in charge of the Heifer Project. We are collecting quarters during both church services. Our goal is to get two goats ($120 each), 2 sheep (also $120 each) and a flock of chickens ($20) by the end of May 2020. Please save your quarters and give them to us so we can help other people. Thank You!

Round up your teams and join us for a night of fun on March 27th! Our GLOW youth group is hosting a Trivia Night Fundraiser for their mission trip to Joplin, MO. The theme is “70’s Boogie Fever.” Here’s what you need to know: When: March 27th, doors open at 5 and trivia starts at 6! Cost: $80 per table, mulligans cost extra Teams: A maximum of eight member per table. Feel free to bring decorations according to our theme of the evening, and dress in costumes for BONUS POINTS! Refreshments: FREE drinks and popcorn. The Game: Your team will compete in 10 rounds of trivia questions from all categories, so make sure you study up! Prizes: Awards will go to the top three scoring teams. Childcare: Provided at no additional costs! Good Friday Community Choir Joel Hagen would like to invite interested singers to the Good Friday Community Choir. Practices will be held at the United Methodist Church on Sunday afternoons starting March 14 @ 2:00pm. We will also be including special music, solos, instrumental, or groups from each church in that service too.
