The United Methodist Churches of Delmar, Maquoketa, and Preston, invite you to a Seder meal celebrating the Jewish festival of Passover.

The Seder is a ritual meal that retells the story of the Exodus through symbolic foods, readings, and conversation. Rooted in Jewish tradition, it also highlights themes of freedom, remembrance, and hope that connect deeply with the Christian faith. Jesus was Jewish, and the Last Supper was likely a Passover meal.

The Seder will be led by the youth of Delmar and Maquoketa, with a meal provided by United Women of Faith.
Menu: chicken casserole, green beans, relishes, and dessert.
A free-will offering will be received.

Date: Wednesday, March 25
Time: 6:00 p.m.
Location: Fellowship Hall, Maquoketa FUMC

Space is limited to 100 people. Please RSVP by March 1 by signing up at one of the churches or by calling the Maquoketa church office at 563-652-4420.

We hope you’ll join us for an evening of learning, reflection, and community.
